You Have What it Takes to Pursue Music On Your Own. Sometimes You Just Need a Team to Help.
Most independent, professional music creators still see the traditional recording contract as a successful career in music.
Unfortunately, getting signed by a traditional record label means the risk of forfeiting ownership of their music, a potential pile of never-ending debt, and losing creative control over their art.
This leaves them questioning if they really have what it takes to pursue music without a traditional record label.

Meet Your Future Record Label Brand
Since April 2021, StreamTribe has been our first “beta” record label brand as we figured out what the “label as a service” model looked like. It was born during the pandemic on Twitch, where we were primarily networking with and discovering DJs in house, trance, and other EDM genres.
StreamTribe Records is our EDM-only record label brand and currently is home to three DJs in trance and psytrance.
What’s the meaning behind the name? Being born on Twitch, it was a given that we were surrounded with live streaming DJs. These DJs are known to attract their fanbases, or tribes, whenever they go live.
Starting in 2022, we will take what we learned from StreamTribe and apply it to a second in-house record label brand, Root Cause Records. We already have a couple artists in this program and they will be releasing future music projects on this label.
What’s the meaning behind the name? At Eleven we believe that the real root cause behind why most independent music creators can’t establish a profitable music career is because they lack the business skills and knowledge to navigate the music industry, not because they need another tool, platform or type of product that’s currently trending.
The industry is saturated with tools and platforms that are supposedly the next “market disruptor”, but those just treat the symptoms. The real problem is that music creators don’t know what they don’t know, and are only confused and frustrated with all the tools, skills, knowledge, and resources they aren’t sure they need or not.
In today’s market, music creators are inundated with what marketing calls “the curse of knowledge”. Companies and organizations who market to musicians think they are speaking their language but haven’t simplified their message enough, causing unintended confusion and ultimately causing musicians to give up trying to use their products and services because they don’t understand what they are and why they need them.
