Hi, my name is Paul Milner. For more than 38 years I have worked in the music industry with credits on over 500 recordings as a freelance record producer / engineer / mixer and mastering engineer.
I devote a large part of my time to the development of new projects with upcoming new artists. Some of the groups I have developed include Matt Andersen, I Mother Earth, The Headstones, Patrizia, Chucky Danger Band, New World Son and countless others.
I have worked alongside some of the best names in the music industry including Keith Richards, Eddy Grant, Rush, Jim Vallance, Andre Perry, and Sting in some of the world’s top recording studios on both major and indie projects. These projects have sold in excess of 21 million copies worldwide with artists such as Glass Tiger, Queensryche, Men Without Hats, Eddy Grant, Keith Richards, and Miki Imai.
My work has had the honor of winning numerous music industry awards and nominations, Juno’s, gold and platinum certifications in the US, Canada, Europe, UK and Japan, a SOCAN #1 song award, GMA Covenant award, several ECMA awards with recordings for Matt Andersen, The Saddle River Stringband and Paper Lions (Chucky Danger Band), and countless regional music awards, including several ADISQ awards for French projects.
I have also run record labels, distributing projects globally. My label TLG (The Label Group) signed 20+ Artists and distributed to 25 territories.
I worked in A&R and established my publishing company 30 years ago with international partners. I’ve also been involved in performance coaching with Music PEI, served on the Board of directors for Music PEI and was instrumental in helping them secure funding to run programs.
I recently formed 428 Entertainment Group with business partner Jeff Liberty. 428 is a publishing company, management company, record label, and also handles bookings for select clients.
Trillium House Studio is my home studio, and I am the co-founder of Music VIP Connect and MyMusic.biz, a new platform designed to help musicians manage their music businesses.
