Hey there! I’m Nancy Moran and I’m a contemporary folk/rock singer/songwriter. I have released 4 albums of my own, on my own label. And I have traveled all over the country performing at coffeehouses, house concerts, listening rooms, theatres, performances halls, and festivals. For eight years, I also toured with The Four Bitchin’ Babes and released 2 albums with them.
I’ve been performing for over 30+ years now. It’s in my blood!
I’ve also been teaching & mentoring for more than 25 years. I’ve taught at NSAI’s Advanced SongCamp, Songposium, and their Thursday night workshops here in Nashville, TAXI’s Road Rally, Between The Waves Conference and Festival (Madison,WI), the Song and Sound Retreat (Capon Springs, WV), SongU, SAE Institute (Nashville, TN), the Songwriter’s Guild (SGA), and my own courses here at Azalea Music Group. I mostly teach performance skills, booking, mindset, marketing, and general business skills. You know, the things NOBODY wants to do (or thinks they need)!
And that’s ALSO in my blood. I want to help musicians to be better artists. How to think like a business person, but still function as a creative. How you can marry the left and right sides of your brain. You CAN do it! Even in today’s music industry. But you have to start with the right mindset first. Mindset is everything.
What makes me different is I tend to work with second-timers (those who are coming back to music after a long hiatus, having a family or career, etc.) and the not-quite-mainstream. If the commercial music industry doesn’t “get” you, I probably will.
