Hi, my name is Matt Jacoby! I have been a drummer for 28+ years (3 bands + 2 albums) and am now dabbling in learning the piano, trance music production and DJ mixing.
I was involved with our local music award show for 15 years as a board member and volunteer, and the Front of House and Red Carpet coordinator for 11 years. I’ve also hosted several local shows and coordinated with venues, bands, and other local music businesses.
I have been a web developer for 23 years, a digital marketing strategist and marketing automation specialist for 9 years, and formerly hosted and produced a weekly NAMM-inspired podcast for 2 years.
I previously owned and operated Octave Media, a digital marketing and managed web hosting agency where I helped brands in the musical instrument, pro audio and event technology industries use digital marketing more effectively.
I have a strong passion at the intersection of technology and the future of the music industry, and for helping musicians and bands succeed in making their passion a true career and for returning the power and control to the industry’s content creators.
