Is it still possible to thrive in music during or after the pandemic? (Answer: Yes)

We hear you. This pandemic (bandemic) sucks. A lot. We wish we didn’t have to create this kind of content, but here we are. ($%#@$)

2020 has been brutal for everyone, but no doubt the music industry was among the hardest hit. From the moment the live music industry decided to literally shut down, our community knew it was going to be a hard (historic) blow for an industry that always seems to be trying to find new footing with every passing year and generation.

The blow might not have been quite as hard on you if you consider yourself a hobby musician, playing bars and venues as a side gig for fun while holding down a job you like.  But for creatives who have made music a full-time career path, there may have been little to fall back on.

There is hope though. Sitting around twiddling your thumbs waiting for local venues to turn their lights back on is a sure-fire way to the bottom, so don’t even go there!  Just like any industry, recessions are not meant for waiting for the dust to settle. They are meant for staying positive and working on your business so you can come out of the tunnel even better than when you went in.  The music industry is no different than any other industry when it comes to making the right choices during difficult and prosperous times.

In this ebook, we’ve put together some of the best ways to go about using the content and tools already at your disposal to stay connected with your fans and strengthen your relationships with industry professionals.  Now more than ever is the time to take this pandemic and turn it into an opportunity for growth!
